Lindsey Gustin and Chef/Owner of
Galileo Restaurant Roberto Donna

Happy Spring!

The Great Chef Roberto Donna of Galileo Restaurant (in Washington, D.C.)
made a return visit on the TV show "Recipes From the Chefs Kitchen"
recently.  He made a springtime menu which is on page one of our website.
It was a pleasure having him back and enjoying his good food.

I have put another family recipe on my webpage.  It is called Rita Volk's
Chop Suey.  Rita Volk was my mother.  The first family recipe "Thelma's
Spaghetti" was a favorite of my mother in law.

I remember my mother making this recipe for Chop Suey
and how much I loved it.  I want to pass it on to you.

Many people think that Chop Suey is an American dish.  It actually originated
with Chinese farmers who use to eat a dish of stir fried vegetables after a long
day in the fields.  I hope you try this recipe...it is extremely easy and quick to
make.
